- Woodland Acres Elementary originally opened its doors in the 1950s.
- The school is home to over 400 students in grades Pre-Kinder to 5th grade.
- The school colors are black and red, and this is the home of the Wildcats.
- Woodland Acres Elementary relocated to its new building in August 2018.
